Pliers

Pliers are designed to hold objects firmly and bend or cut hard materials like metal. The standard pliers (on the far left) are the most commonly used pliers in mechanics. They provide excellent mechanical advantage and leverage in handling objects.

The needle nose pliers (mid picture) are designed to handle fine parts and provide better control and reach.

The plumber's grips (or slip joint pliers) are a type of pliers designed for gripping various size tubes and larger objects. They provide excellent mechanical advantage and leverage.
