Spanners (metric). A tool used to apply torque to bolts and nuts thus loosening or tightening them. These come in various sizes and generally fall under two standards: metric and imperial. The picture shows the metric open-/ratchet-end spanners in sizes 8-15mm – most commonly used in the bicycle industry.
