BB30 and BB90 units are modern technology but essentially variations on an outboard system and you can follow the steps to remove the outboard cranks as the removal process is exactly the same. Note that the spindle is attached to the cranks on these units as you can see above. Also, the bearings are sealed and sit just inside the BB shell.
